Verified Reviewer |We had our kitchen done by the kitchen magic
We had our kitchen done by the kitchen magic couple years ago, and they did not even finish the job. I keep telling my husband to contact the customer service about the horrible job that they did, but he had so many other problems to take care of, so he did not yet contacted anyone.
Can someone look up our contract number? This is our address: 6 Glen Avenue, Farmingville, NY, 11738

New counter tops
My wife found kitchen magic at a street fair advertising, and decided to give them a chance to price out new counter tops. the sales people have the gift of gab, promised saturdays no problem installing, and they use all their own kitchen magic people, yada, yada, yada.
We gave them a deposit and they were supposed to set it up for us to get the counter tops measured and templates made so the counter tops fix exact. We get a call that we have to be there on a weekday, ( my losing a days pay was not part of the deal) then they finally sent a sub contractor to do the template ( so much for only using kitchen magic people) . Approximately two weeks later we get a call that the counter tops are ready to be installed and again they want me to take a day off from work during the week. Finally it is agreed that they will honor the salesmans word and deliver and install them on a Saturday.
Their prep man shows up and removes the old sink and cuts the old countertop into pieces because it is too heavy and bulky for one man to lift.He checked to make sure the cabinets were level and square and left, nice setup job. About an hour later the counter tops arrived ,the workmen not kitchen magic employees, and some garbage about it being a sister company is a load of dung, installed the new counter tops, but they were cut wrong, now the stove cannot fit. The counter top is an inch too long, it protrudes into the walkway by 1/2 an inch and it was not equidistant around the face of the cabinets. They wanted to take the counter top back and recut it, and in doing so i know that the sink opening and faucet holes would not be in the proper place.
We went round and round and I was given the distinct impression that the supervisor was trying to blame us for their screwup. Long story short, we were without a working kitchen for a week, i had to cook a dinner for guests with the stove in the middle of the kitchen walkway, and in my opinion were treated poorly by their salespeople and shop supervisors. Their sub that installed the correct counter top (after he made his own template tried to go above board to help us out, and the final product looks great, but sadly that does not make up for the bad taste they left in our mouths as the experience of updating our kitchen soured with their many failures. I would have expected the salesman to at least apologize for the screwup and offer some token compensation, nope nada nothing.
if you want a company that is reliable in my opinion look elsewhere. Most all the companies offer the same basic materials, go with a reputable local merchant and save the headaches and grief, hope this helps you jr

Kitchen Magic Usa Countertops Review from Downingtown, Pennsylvania
I placed order for kitchen counter tops in late Nov. 2015, I was scheduled for insulation on Dec.
28, 2015,. Only half of my counter tops arrived, which I found out during installation. Had to call KM.to found out when other top would arrive and be installed, after holding for awhile i was told tomorrow Tues. Between 10 & 12:00.
MY COUNTER arrived around 8:30am Tuesday. After waiting until noon I called KM. And was told Installation would be on Thurs. I am very disappointed in their custom service and installation at this point.
I will write another final review on Thursday if it happens.
Kitchen Magic Usa - Kitchen Remodeling Review from Blackwood, New Jersey
My husband and I are completely dissatisfied with Kitchen Magic out of Nazareth PA. We hired them to remodel our kitchen.
We paid a ridiculous expensive amount of money thinking we would be 100% satisfied. We were wrong! The contractors that first came out were done in 4 days but left my kitchen a disaster. After 2 days we discovered the countertops were dimpled, the measurements were off, and the cabinets starting to bubble.
I called and spoke to Matt who was unprofessional when I told him I would not be taking anymore days off of work for them to come out to correct the problem. The second contractor they sent out was unprofessional, unfriendly, and replaced the primary countertop with dimples as bad as the first.
Unfortunately I am still dealing with this company because of the amount of money we spent on this kitchen and there horrible workmanship, products, and customer service. I will never recommend them to anyone and will continue to bash them to anyone that will listen.
Unprofessional sink installation
We had an undercounter sink installed. Instead of clips or brackets to hold the sink in place, this company uses scrap pieces of countertop stone with epoxy to hold up the sink.
After a while the epoxy fails, the stones fall off and the sink sags. Unprofessional, slipshod work. One can do the work more competently, in a better manner, by oneself without having to throw money away to a company that is more concerned with how fast they can push a job through than doing the job correctly, proficiently, in a skillful, qualified and expert manner.
Inadequate unprofessional, shoddy work by this company.

Kitchen Magic Usa Staff Review from Plymouth, Massachusetts
They suck! Rude and dont know how to make a sale, no info whats so ever over phone. Talked over me and coud care less if he got the sale.
Lateness, Sloppyness and Overall Unhappiness
DO NOT HIRE THEM. Our 2-3 DAY job went on for 8 weeks+ which was completed in April 2015 and we are already having sections peeling off the original cabinets.
The subcontractor, who our salesman said was not a subcontractor, missed more days than he worked. So frustrating. Nice man but had a lot of drama that I just did not care about when I was going weeks without a sink. He also made 2 small gashes in out floor and I asked several times how we would be compensated to get it repaired and no one ever addressed it.
The review I am writing today is because it has been about 6 weeks since it was completed and I already have to call to get a repair done. BUYER BEWARE!
Kitchen Magic Usa Kitchen Remodeling Review from New York, New York
I was told my husband should be home and that they'd have to confirm before they came. They wouldn't show without my confirmation.
I confirmed. The day of our appointment, we dropped everything we could have done to be around at three in the afternoon. We received a call at three in the afternoon saying their guy's schedule was over extended with a bigger kitchen project than planned. Would we like to reschedule for another day?
Uh let me think. NO.
Do not hire Kitchen Magic of Nazareth PA to do your kitchen
Not enough space to detail-but here goes.Salesman Bill very nice but when we were not interested in signing that night he dropped the price over $4,000 in just a week (the only good thing that happened). He never mentioned that the quartz countertop would be "sub" out. Costing thousands more than our local company.. Started work in October of 2014. Cabinets were refaced and new counter top and a pennisula added. Kitchen magic had to do the kitchen cabinets (5 different times) because we noticed "bubbles" in the painted cabinets. It was a night mare. Someone had to be here for the delivery of the cabinet doors (5 times) and then (5) more times to have the workers do the work to replace them. Different workers 3 different times.Counter top installed by Castle Rock of Harrisburg. Two young kids installed the countertop and dented our new mircowave and put *** in the wall. Seams awful looking, space between them. Also put a scratch in our new french door refrigerator.Called Supervisor of Kitchen Magic (Matt) who tried to get problems corrected but never did. Asked to talk with Manager(Raymond)who was not cooperative or professional at all. Had an attitude that we were bothering him. He (supposedly) tried to find a microwave for us but after a week we took over and found the same kind of micro wave within an hour. Raymond's response was "we are not in the mirco wave business." When the kids from Castle Rock came with the quartz countertop and sink - the sink was backwards. Had to wait again for the right sink to be delivered and installed. The cost of the whole project was thousands of dollars. Now realize we could have gotten quartz countertop locally and had it installed for $4,000 less than we paid Kitchen Magic. (our mistake) Never were told they contract their countertops out. We have each day documented but not enough space to list it all right now. Kitchen Magic started 10/10/2014 and finally completed the project on 11/27/2014. Please, before you seriously consider hiring Kitchen Magic give us a call. 570-657-****.We built our home in 1995 and we just wanted to "moderize" our kitchen. If we could we would have Kitchen Magic come in and take everything out and go back to our 20 year old kitchen. We will say that Matt (Manager) tried several times to make things right but never could. But he did try.Raymond, however, did not. He was rude, seemed to be bothered each time we contacted him - very very unprofessional. The owners of Kitchen Magic should really consider replacing Raymond. We honestly and sincerely don't want anyone else to be had by Kitchen Magic. Contact us anytime.
Thank you.
The worst ! It's not really magic its ***!
DONT Do It ! Don't give them a deposit !
When you hear the sales pitch its a lie they do *** work and when you have issues. No one will help. Not even the family that owns the Bussiness. I can't believe they are still in Bussiness.
Total rip-off.
When they showed me a display and then I ordered the product and gave deposit when the product showed up. Entirely different my kitchen was already demod I wouldn't accept the *** they wanted to give me I told them this is not what I ordered I tried to reason with the corporate office and got nowhere.
These guys would not return my deposit I went and Used another company kitchen magic left me with a demolished kitchen and debri everywhere. Don't chance it I learned my lesson

We were told prior to installation by Marvin Moskowitz that the doors
over the oven would not peel well they did and had to be replaced. A simple heatshield would have prevented that. Another door is starting to peel so I ordered a heat shield over a month ago. One finally came
the wrong size. Another one is now on order for over a week.
Over a month has passed and we are still waiting to solve our problem.
I would not recommend these people to any friends of mine.
Very disappointed.
Talking to the service people is very frustrating. They make a lot of promises but really have no control of the the situation.
All I got were compliments for being so patient. Well I finally lost it.
We sure got a lot of assurances from Marvin on his presentation but after the order all seemed to disappear.
What more to discuss.
Lied in explaining contract.
When I confronted Kitchen Magic with the ruse its salesman tried to pull on us, Kitchen Magic told me it was MY misunderstanding. Now, I'm filing a state complaint.
People should be aware the 14-day clause the salesman may point to is not a right to cancel within 14 days. It is an agreement to keep the price offer open for 14 days. The right to cancel is but 3 days.
Our salesman, as others have experienced, kept pointing to the 14-day clause urging me and enjoy up to 14 days to think about it. When I went to read the clause for myself, he kept trying to interrupt the process, repeating I had 14 days to think it over and pointing to where I needed to sign.
Surprisingly, I wrote Costco relating my experience but never received a reply. I found this unlike Costco. I saw a display of cabinet doors inside Costco recently. I don't know if it was Kitchen Magic.
Find a local cabinetmaker and do business locally. You can inspect their work and you are not visited by a salesman, but more often by the cabinetmaker, himself.
Constantly repairing
The new countertop and regular cabinets were ok, but they could have done a better job on the seams and they hinges needed adjustment. The big problem is with the drawers and the garbage/recycling slider.
We told them we were going to put pans in the drawers and they said it wouldn't be a problem. They used cheap, lightweight sliders that separate from the drawer every time you pull the drawer out. They are not capable of handling the weight, even though they knew what was going in the drawers. The garbage/recycling slider is a disaster.
The cabinet face constantly separates from the frame that holds the two bins. For some unexplained reason, the holes on one side were drilled 6 inches apart, on the other side they are 6-1/2 inches apart. It will not close all the way any more and the plastic rail covers fall off. After the installation, they came back twice to fix things, but they didn't really fix them.
Today I'm biting the bullet and fixing everything myself. My overall opinion is that they do a great sell, but fall short on delivery. When I pay someone to do work for me, I expect it to be better quality than if I did it myself.
I could have done a better job. I do not recommend Kitchen Magic and am still pissed that I wasted my money.
Piggybacked on my website
Never had any work done by this company ,but two times they have somehow been able to get their site to show up on my website thru yahoo webhosting.I complained a couple years ago and thought I had the problem fixed ,but I decided to use google adwords a few days back & google came back and said that kitchen magic had tied up MY website. It is under investigation now and all I am told is that somehow they are able to do something (probably not legal) to attach themselves to my site taking all my leads.
I am a little small country shop & need all the leads I can get. This should not be happening .
Kitchen Magic is very sexist
I contacted Kitchen Magic to come do an estimate. They wanted to know if I was married then told me that my husband needed to be there.
He was not there when the rep came. The rep had my husband's name on the form, even though I had contacted them. He told me that they wanted to both parties available. I was paying for the countertops for MY home, not my husband.
I contacted them, not my husband. The rep never did send me the quote. He told me to tell my husband to call him. I guess I needed my husband's permission (so they thought).
I would rather pay double for countertops or keep the old ones I have then give a sexist Kitchen Magic a dime.

I worked for these people at one time. Scammers.
Avoid!
Even their *** "contest" is a scam. NEVER NEVER NEVER give them your phone #!
We are a local cabinet maker to many homeowners and we are currently enjoying our 35th year of delighting customers. We obviously could not do that if we employed such practices.
Costco requires us to inform all customers that we acquire through a Costco Warehouse that the price of the project is guaranteed for 14 days.
Sadly, this has led to some confusion for a few individuals. We are very up front about our 3-day rescission period and do not desire to remodel someone's kitchen if they really do not wish to have the work done.
